2010 Entertainment Schedule

Low Impact Exercise Class every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10 to 11 AM in Roux Hall!

CRIBBAGE ~ Every Monday night @ 7 PM, starting June 21 through September 20th!

BINGO ~ Every Wednesday night @ 7 PM starting June 23 through September 22, 2010 (if supported)
Cards cost $2 for the evening, repurchase as many cards as you wish for last game of coverall ($2 each)

POKER & Card Night Every Friday Night starting at 7:00. Join the folks for a friendly game
of dealers choice nickel, dime, quarter, or get a bunch together for your favorite card or board game!
Make Friday night a real social night, bring your munchies, meet your neighbors & have some fun!

The Red Apple Campground is a major sponsor for the Arundel Barn Playhouse. It is located just up the road
and they produce several fine plays throughout the summer season. Discount tickets available through
the campground office, call ahead and we will have them waiting for you upon check in.

May 22 Saturday 6 PM ~ Pot Luck Supper followed by Cribbage Tournament. $10 entry fee for tournament, all proceeds go to top two winners

May 29 Saturday 7:30 PM ~ Memorial Weekend Dance with award winning singer Jose Duddy

May 30 Sunday 9 AM ~ 2 PM Park wide yard sale. Sell those unwanted items and buy others fine wares. This event will be advertised to the public in local newspapers and with road signs. You may sell in your own yards, or set up in the hall where you can reserve a table in advance.

June 12 Saturday 6 PM ~ Pot Luck Supper followed by Bingo. Bingo Cards are $2 each - repurchase any/all cards for final game of coverall. All proceeds to the winners.

June 26 Saturday 7 PM ~ It's black and white video night. Laugh the night away with blasts from the past - join us as we watch the antics of Jackie Gleason, Art Carney, and Red Skelton. True comedians of a time gone by. Free hot popcorn! Bring your favorite drinks and/or munchies.

July 3 Saturday Noon 4th of July Picnic BBQ - we provide the hot dogs and burgers, followed by fun games & competition for all ages. You bring a dessert to share with others.

July 10 Saturday 7:30 PM Dance - Costume Party Theme! Cash prizes for best costumes.

July 24 Saturday 730 PM - It's Doo Wop Dance Night! 2010 is the 50th anniversary of DooWop ~ Come and enjoy the music of the 50's with all of the original artists! Bring your dancing shoes and feel free to dress the part of the era of REAL MUSIC!

July 31 Saturday 6 PM 5th annual Lewinski Chicken BBQ. $7 pp for the complete meal! (Includes 1/2 BBQ chicken, soft drinks and dessert) Then at 7 PM - Comedy Night with Maine's own Karmo Sanders ~ Better known as
the "Marden's Lady" from TV commercial fame. A laugh a minute!

August 14 Saturday 2 PM ~ Car pool to Fort Williams Park for kite flying, viewing of Portland Headlight lighthouse, a family picnic, relaxing time and ice cream stop on the way home. A great time and place to relax and have fun. Bring your lawn chairs and coolers as well as lawn games!

August 21 Saturday 6 PM. We have pre-purchased 50 tickets for the Portland Seadogs (Red Sox) Vs. Trenton Thunder (Yankees) Cost per ticket is only $7.00 ~ Advanced sign up & payment is required. If tickets are sold out more than 30 days prior to the game we may be able to get more, so don't miss out, sign up now, get on the list! All tickets are in Section 105 (reserved seats) right behind home plate in the second teir.

August 28 Saturday ~ Car pool to Cabbage Island Lobster Bake Boothbay Harbor. Boat tour of Boothbay Harbor, followed by fantastic full down east feast with two lobsters, fish chowder, clams, corn on the cob, onion, potato, blueberry cake, ice tea or hot coffee. Chicken may be substituted with prior notice. Rate: $58.95 pp. Bar service available for extra fee. 30 tickets available, must sign up ASAP, it is never too early....sign up now! Boat leaves at 1230 noon returning to dock at 4:30 PM. (About 4 hour total time involved with boat ride and meal)

September 4 Saturday 7:30 to 10:30 PM Dance with Jose Duddy

September 5 Sunday 8 AM to 10 AM Fantastic Labor Day Breakfast - Adults $8 Kids 11 & under $5 All proceeds to Maine Children's Cancer

September 18 Saturday 5 PM Nobody has too cook night out on the town! Location: Japan Steak House Scarborough with hibachi table cooking. For those who are interested we will stop on the way home at the bowling alley in Saco.
Prior sign up is required for the head count.

October 8 Saturday 7:30 PM Last Dance of the season with DJ & singer Alan Richard - come join the fun as we say goodbye for the season.
